Whatever is the point of replay if we're not going to clean up such an egregiously shitty call?

Award losing VOX of UMD men's hockey on KDAL in Duluth. I have a podcast. It's probably not worth your time. https://northlandnewsradio.com/podcasts-bruce-ciskie-show/

5 strikeouts for Miz. Jayden Daniels is on line two.
That right there is The Goods. Bases loaded, Shohei and Freeman up. Dodgers timing up the fastballs. Jacob Misiorowski goes to the secondary stuff and strikes out two of the best hitters in baseball, then caps it with a patented Miz celebration.
The NFL preseason is good for at least one thing. I had no idea until five minutes ago that Justin Fields now plays for Kansas City.
Currently eating my first bag of mini donuts in at least 15 years. Thank you, random food truck at Hoghead, for selling them with lemon blueberry instead of cinnamon sugar. This has been today's Offseason Update.
48 days until @umdmenshockey.bsky.social season opener on KDAL. Forward and Duluth native Dick Maertz (1963-67) had 48 points (28 goals, 19 assists) during his 108 games at UMD. #ListenToTheRadio
I read your Hynes question as "Do you think the Wild can win a Cup with Hynes as coach?" That was my choice, and I gave it a low score as a result. But 11-25 in the playoffs doesn't inspire a lot of confidence.

And we've now reached a point where I would rather watch Ortiz hit than 2026 All Star William Contreras.
STOP STARTING JOEY ORTIZ ON A MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL TEAM
Sure am glad Gary Sanchez isn't playing for a second straight day after he was basically the only hitter who was worth a shit on Wednesday.
William Contreras grounds into a double play in his first at-bat. He is 0 for his last 18.
Why am I spending my last waking hours watching Robert Gasser pitch and his teammates not hit (or, apparently, field)? The world may never know.

Never met Peter, but he was a great influence on my career from afar, thanks to his ties to one of my mentors, John Munson. Tremendous talent, and by all accounts a wonderful man. The hockey world mourns Peter Maher's passing.
Former Calgary Flames radio broadcaster Peter Maher passes away
49 days until @umdmenshockey.bsky.social season opener on KDAL. UMD played two seasons of men’s hockey as an independent (went 7-0-0 in 1948-49) before gaining acceptance into the MIAC on June 27, 1949. #ListenToTheRadio
The standard is already pretty low, but this Packers game is some serious horseshit. Like, I'm tempted to overreact, that's how bad this is.
The football gods are smiling on the Packers with all these field goal opportunities.
The Packers gave up a first down after it was second and 18. Midseason form, baby. Let's go!
The Field of Dreams bit just does not miss. All the feels. Baseball!

50 days until @umdmenshockey.bsky.social season opener on KDAL. Junior defenseman Ty Hanson of Hermantown has racked up 14 goals and 50 points across 76 games in his first two seasons at UMD. Feels like a safe bet he'll be a part of UMD's leadership group again this season. #ListenToTheRadio
It might not be this simple. But if the men did this type of thing, even in the summer, there's no way in hell it would cost that much to stream the whole event, much less a single game. That's an asinine price point.
I had hoped to watch some of the USA/Canada U18 and College Series, but the company providing the streams (which I think is tied to the rink) is charging $17.99 per game, which is absurd at any time, but particularly for a "friendly" summer series
They're gonna score 14 runs in one of the Dodgers games out of nowhere.
Final: Padres 4, Brewers 3 (11) Let it out. This is a safe space. The record: 74-47
Before people start saying Gary Sanchez needs to play more, put some respeck on @cyrthogg.bsky.social for saying it first.
After consecutive hitters stood there and watched third strikes go by in the eighth, I decided it was way too nice out to keep putting myself through this. Good decision, for once.
Brice Turang was thrown out trying to steal third for the first out of the 10th. I don't know what team I'm watching, but this isn't the March-through-August 9 Brewers.
Me, watching what feels like every team in baseball be better at ABS than the Brewers.

I'll give Cooper Pratt my hamstring. (Actually, this would likely not help very much.)
Dustin May rolled what should have been his third double play in four innings. David Hamilton booted it. Danger looms.
