Today is Goblin’s 7th birthday. He got a new catnip banana.

Lover of horror movies, novels and my cats. Halloween and weird thing enthusiast. I’m a runner going nowhere.
Watching my first overtly Halloween movie of the season, HACK-O-LANTERN.
I adore Oldboy, but I’ve never watched the other 2 movies in the vengeance trilogy, so starting with Sympathy For Mr. Vengeance.
I went and got breakfast, but it’s boiling in Denver, so that’s the extent I’ll be leaving the house. Watching The Final Chapter, my favorite Friday the 13th movie.
I went to college in the Los Angeles area in the late 90s/early 2000s and I saw a lot of famous people. I once saw Tom Hanks and his family getting frozen yogurt and even as an 8 year old, you could tell Chet Hanks was the asshole of the family.
We had a lowkey anniversary this year. We got brunch in a mountain town and hiked to a 15 foot tall troll. I’m grateful for 23 years with my favorite person.
Up in Frisco, CO to escape the heat in Denver. Cinnamon roll French toast for brunch.
We forgot to get a photo at the restaurant, but we’re watching Hellraiser II: Hellbound, as it is the official 23rd anniversary celebration movie.
I loved THE LADY IN WHITE as a kid. I’m excited to pick this up from the @vinsyn.bsky.social store in Denver.
I always enjoyed NIGHT OF THE COMET. It exemplifies an enjoyable 80s movie
Watching X from the A24 4k set. I love the content of the set, but I wish it fit on a traditional media shelf.
Watching SCREAM 7 to see if I like it any better the 2nd time. I’m still disappointed we didn’t get to see where the previous creative team and new cast were going to take things.
One remake I would really go for is I AM LEGEND. I would love a movie closer to Matheson’s book. I also kind of can’t stand Will Smith.
The Bladerunner 2099 announcement made me want to watch the original, since it’s been a while.
For those that haven’t seen it, Channel Zero might have been the best horror tv show ever. It’s an anthology show, so each season is a new story. I just bought the whole series on dvd.
Guy at the brewery ordered a flight, took 1 tiny sip of each and left. Not sure I’ve ever seen that before
I was asked to draw my family in Kindergarten. My teacher didn’t even bat an eye at the demonic Pac-Man ghost I included as a family member.
A mid-tier Friday The 13th movie, but part 3 has a god-tier theme
I hit my knee with a mini sledge hammer today. That’s how things are.
THE HITCHER is a movie is saw very young. I remember watching it when I was probably 9 or 10 with my older brother during and HBO free preview weekend. I remember being shocked with how bleak it was. Rutger Hauer really elevates the whole movie with an insane performance.
Watching an HP Lovecraft inspired movie I’ve never seen that I got from the last @vinsyn.bsky.social sale, THE RESURRECTED.
THE ODYSSEY was a beautiful movie that I don’t think any other filmmaker could have made. It made my philosophy major/Greek mythology nerd heart happy.
Not IMAX, but still really excited to see The ODYSSEY on 35mm
Taking some teenagers hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park
Pete Hegseth: "We need our warriors to embrace the Spartan mindset" U.S. Military: *suffers crushing defeat to the Persians*
Guy at the brewery told his wife to go order a “chicken shawarma deconstructed” from the food truck and I’ve rarely had to put in this much effort to suppress the urge to give someone a smack.
