Happened to do a spontaneous trip to the bookstore today and got the only copy they had of All Hallows Eve edited by @datlow.bsky.social. There are so many amazing authors in this and I’m spending the rest of the afternoon reading.
It’s been a long week. Probably poured more bourbon than I should have for my second. Moving forward any odd or unusual posts are strictly Jim Beam Black talking. It’s quiet, I’ve got my Kindle, got Lo-Fi, and I’m set to relax while my chicken pot pie cooks. Made from scratch minus the crust. 😁
Not having a bad day just emotionally exhausted. Today is one of those days I wish I could make a blanket fort full of pillows all over and snacks. I’d just read and nap all day.

Has anyone in the #HorrorCommunity ever had a sub genre they were not a fan of but keep watching? For example, I’m not a fan of Folk Horror but I do love Hokum and Oddity. I’m also not a fan of found footage but I have watched every VHS movie. Am I just torturing myself to find those little gems?
