🤫 We quietly launched a beta of our LGND AI, Inc. Discover app. Please go break it. Type what you want to know about: New solar panels. Empty cargo ports. Construction creeping into forests. Whatever you're curious about. It's extremely hard to make this extremely simple. discover.lgnd.ai

The Economist called orbital data centers "less crazy than you think." Planet just announced flying NVIDIA chips on its next-gen sats. GTC is today. I've been running due diligence on this for VCs. The short version: everyone's sending the wrong chip to the right place. brunosan.eu/posts/2026-0...
Data Centers in Space: The Wrong Chip in the Right Place
Putting latest AI chips in orbit will literally melt them. Space chips won't be Silicon.

AI Embeddings already know their own accuracy — No decoder, no retraining. Found in geospatial models, confirmed across 20 models and 6 modalities. The embedding already encoded its confidence — you just had to ask linearly. devlogs.lgnd.ai/posts/2026-03-01-self-aware-embeddings/index.html
ELLE: Embeddings Linearly contain their Loss Estimate – Lgnd.ai — Devlogs
Foundation model CLS embeddings linearly encode their own per-sample pretraining loss – readable by a Ridge probe in 1 us, with no labels and no extra forward passes. Validated across 20 models and 6 ...

#Greenland is more than real estate and geopolitics — it’s a place of extraordinary beauty, importance and remarkable people. I visited in 2014 for a climate event and am now releasing my photos as CC-BY to support journalists and independent storytellers. www.flickr.com/photos/nason...

In 2014, I had the opportunity to visit Greenland as a participant in a climate-change event. Beyond the conference, I documented the place from the air and the ground—flying drones, traveling by plan...

My message at Davos next week: When facts fracture and narratives collide, when nature bites back, when trust between governments breaks overnight and global sentiment feels like quicksand… the boldest acts of global leadership will be planetary awareness. www.weforum.org/stories/2026...
Can planetary intelligence anchor a new global dialogue?
The amount of Earth observation satellites now orbiting the planet could offer us a shared planetary intelligence, if their data is harnessed correctly.

What if AI is neither as good nor bad, AND much simpler, to understand. Selling a balanced view is harder, digesting complexity into simplicity even more.

I had this random idea to create a compression algorithm that skips words that an AI can deterministically predict, both exactly or similar ones. 3 minutes later with Gemini. Famous texts, or sections, compress to ZERO size (memorization), and always better than zip.

One of the hardest 10min talks I've given. Not just because I managed to close it paraphrasing the poet Rumi, but because I decided to live my words that "data doesn't change the world, stories do". So it's just me, telling a story. A story of #AIforEarth www.linkedin.com/feed/update/...

I'm not sure instant messaging is a good thing anymore. Since I've deleted Whatsapp I sometimes miss easily connecting with family and friends, but mostly feel more relaxed and focused. Some friction helps quality.

WSJ quotes me saying that AI has changed so much... yet so little helping us understand Earth. We created Clay to be the best model as a non-profit. Yet, the best model needs the rest of the rocket to get places. So we created LGND to re-imagine how we understand Earth. www.wsj.com/tech/ai/arti....
