Walking behind someone when something fell on the ground from her pocket. I was tutting about littering, but as I got closer I saw it was £10. So I picked it up, caught up with her and handed it back. Many on ‘the other place’ won’t understand this. But I’m happy just with her thanks and smile.

I sent my first (and only) tweet 15 years ago. It was about the canal freezing over, so it seems appropriate as it’s starting to snow to make this first post on what hopefully will be a more friendly platform
