Interesting that people are moaning, saying that Nyoni, Jacquet and Leoni are too young to be relied upon yet all of last season they were crying for Rio Ngumoha to start on a regular basis when of the 4, he's the least ready to have that role

People are just idiots really aren't they, moan about slot not using youth then yet they want us to spend 100mil on Wharton when Nyoni does the exact same thing and seems sharper defensively. Demand we sign a right back but hate the idea of signing Spence, it's all baffling to me
Can people stop clamouring for Arnau Martinez because they've seen he can play right back and CB and has an 8 mil release clause. Do you really think at that price the other elite clubs wouldn't have snapped him up to? Unless you're telling me all the biggest clubs are missing a trick...
Something tells me that Liverpool have had their targets all summer and it's just been a case of waiting to move at the right time with groundwork already been completed most likely.
Take a lot of reports with a pinch of salt and this one also but if Djed Spence is available for 35mil even if he's just a back up to cover right back and left back, I'd take that all day long
Incorrect. Joyce said they're separate from one another. "Interest in Ibrahim Mbaye is separate to Liverpool’s long-running pursuit of Bradley Barcola"
Joyce saying it's Barcola or Mbaye, Theo Squires saying they're considered independent, hmm #LFC
Inter seem to be shopping Bastoni around, why aren't Liverpool moving for him I hear you all cry Well he's got an active investigation against him for soliciting sex from a child, there you may find your answer and thank god we won't touch him if that's the case.
34mil for Mbaye is apparently what PSG want according to romano, well that's a bloody good deal
There are too many people that think right footed = left wing and left footed = right wing.
Seems Mbaye moved on from his family representing him to Jorge Mendes who we have a very good relationship with by all accounts so that's some positive
Id imagine Mbaye for 40-60mil given his ceiling represents a far better deal than Minteh for 70-90mil
Seems Mbaye is also wanted by and has proposals by Bundesliga clubs, Leverkusen one that have apparently had contacts with PSG but Mbayes preference is Liverpool
Not overly keen on Mbaye because of his entourage but romano reporting we are making a move for both Mbaye and Barcola is very interesting indeed.
Part of me wonders, if Bajcetic is fit and given his natural ability to play CB whether or not we end the season with Nyoni as the "6" and Bajcetic covering Nyoni and at CB. Bajcetic after all played at CB for Las Palmas on loan at times last season
Not only does Nyoni off something different to anything else in the deeper role offers with his progressive passing and passing range, he also offers a lot of bite it seems. Doesn't seem afraid to press quick and instantly get in the face of opposing players
I think we will see a lot of movement before the end of the transfer window. Have a feeling that Jones, Gakpo and Chiesa all leave.
I have a sneaky feeling that Nyoni will start opening day Vs Newcastle...
It would seem I'm more positive about or squad than 90% of the fanbase...
Given the transfer market then I'd be asking for 70mil from spurs for Gakpo
People panicking that Jacquet wasn't in training and people are somehow running with he's injured when he was supposedly doing gym work and Iraola literally confirmed they're just being cautious because he hasn't played since Feb. Honestly people always overreact.
"Fifa only requires a majority (50 per cent plus one) vote from its 211 member associations." Yeh maybe that's the case, but what sort of World Cup do you have without Europe? 6 of the 8 quarter finalists from Europe, Spain are the holders now. You'd have no Mbappe, Yamal, Toney and co👍
Personally think Koumas stays and is utilised by Iraola next season, especially with Ekitike out
Another thing for everyone wondering who's going to play which wing. Iraola saying he wants all his wingers to be able to play both on the left and right. When you look at Muñoz and Barcola they tick that box. Morrison played on the left last night and Rio the right.
For all of you have been talking about Wirtz off the left, Iraola talking about how he seems him as behind the striker and that he suits the game model they want being played and that he's a complete player
Dominoes starting to fall PSG have agreed a fee at long last with Monaco for Akilouche
Iraola speaking very highly of Nyoni following the game, seems very impressed with him in and out of possession
Eddie Howe leaving Newcastle weeks before the start of the season and being replaced by a guy who manages another PIF owned team... Relegation battle?
Pre season and Vs Wrexham but in 45 mins Nyoni had: 67 touches 59/63 (94%) completed passes 8 passes into the final third 2 interceptions 5 recoveries 1/3 duels won
