Didn't check the most critical box. How critical not getting an impact playoff starter? It makes the deadline a failure, plain and simple.
Might be an unpopular take: with an 8-game division lead, I would’ve kept Mateo, optioned Jarvis, play HSK at SS for a week to try and get him going, then DFA HSK if he sucked and bring Jarvis back after the allotted 15 days. Mateo was your designated PR for October. I don’t get it.
