Gizmo loves to snooze dangerously - the sofa is leather so the throw slides off from time to time. Particularly when a large house lion jumps on it 😹😹🦁🦁 #teamfloof #CatsofBluesky

Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat is having a sort of relaxing time on a silver throw which sits on the back of a leather sofa. Normally we might see a bit of the brown leather but Gizmo’s weight is causing the throw to slide down a bit. If he jumps up at speed he can take it clean off and end up on the floor with it! His long smooth orange fur coat looks bright and shiny against the silver throw as do his snow dipped paws. Darker orange tabby stripes on his shoulder, front leg and blended in with his coat make him look like a cross between a lion and a tiger! In the background behind Gizmo is a large window looking into the garden and a large pine display cabinet.

Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat is relaxing on a cream sofa which in addition to its own matching cushion has three assorted cushions featuring two very familiar cats on them! Gizmo is on the left of the picture and is holding his right snow dipped paw up close to his mouth which makes him look like an art fan deep in thought at a gallery! The sofa has two large seating cushions and Gizmo takes up one! Going along the cushions the first one to his right is an oval shaped dark cushion. It’s got a picture of Buddy and Gizmo on it. Gizmo is at the front with his mouth open while Buddy is behind him. The next cushion is a large square one and features the boys as kittens. Gizmo is the left kitten and Buddy is on the right. Both have blue eyes and we’re only about 3 months old. The last cushion we see is another oval one with a picture of the boys hanging out on the bathroom wall platform.

Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat is fast asleep on his back while on a grey/silver/white rug. He has his eyes firmly closed and his front legs with snow dipped paws are pulled up towards his head. His tummy with its long creamy orange fur is on display too. This is a sign of a cat who feels safe and happy in his territory - he knows nothing is coming to get him other than an excitable mum or Dadmin coming to give him a belly rub!

Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat is nested on the sofa lying on top of mum’s pink hooded top which she has left for him to lounge on while she stretches her legs! He’s looking right off camera, probably wondering why mum is holding her leg up like a flamingo 😹😹 This picture was taken in the evening so the silver curtains in the background are closed and there’s a warm glow to his orange fur from the low lighting. Long white whiskers curl out from his muzzle and his pointy ears are lined with soft light coloured fur in addition to the famous orange tips. The rest of his fur on snow swirls around like a glowing orange cinnamon bun - he’s a handsome boy and he knows it!

We found a livestream of the bears at Brooks Falls in Alaska as they enjoy their annual salmon buffet and Gizmo was most intrigued by the big furry tractors. I reckon he’d barge them aside for some sushi! 😹😹🦁🦁 #teamfloof #CatsofBluesky

The TV is showing a livestream of large brown grizzly bears as they hunt for salmon in the waters of Brooks Falls. There are around 6 or so bears visible on screen as they stand in the fast flowing waters. This is an annual summer event as salmon swim upstream - it’s a water borne buffet for the bears! Gizmo’s fur glows warm in the evening light and his pointy ears with their orange fur tips are alert as he observes the bears!

Additional detail: the feature wall where the TV is mounted has a warm white glow on shelving units incorporated into the wall. A wide feature fireplace has orange flames reaching upwards. The floor in front of the wall has a grey/silver/white rug covered in Gizmo accessories - visible things are a cardboard box with the brown lid up and a white dome toy.

Picture 2 of 2: Gizmo is now off the sofa and stood up on his back legs at the TV showing the brown bears hunting salmon in the river. He’s a long tall boy and is probably standing about twice the height of a regular cat but he’s not even fully stood up. He’s very interested in them and knowing him he probably thinks he’s got a chance against them 😹😹 As he’s moved away we see more of his accessories on the rug. From left to right we have a cardboard box with the lid up, a white dome toy, Superman lying on his face, a blue octagon which is a water toy that usually contains plastic fish to chase but has a white bowl full of water and a toothbrush in it, two brushes and a circular play mat which features an underwater scene. It’s blue for the sea with colourful sea creatures in various reds, yellows and greens.

Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat is nestled nicely on a comfy cream chair which has a fluffy blanket covering the seat in addition to the large cat 😹😹 There are stripey brown cushions either side of Gizmo and behind him is a cushion which has a pug on it! Gizmo hasn’t encountered a dog in a long time after Buddy startled the neighbour’s dog which came into the garden and he’s got a look on his face which suggests he’s not a fan of this one either even though it’s on a cushion. The pug is light in colour with black ears, eyes and muzzle. And a pink flower on it. Usual pug stuff 😹😹 Gizmo himself is as magnificent as always as he chills on the chair - flowing orange floof all the way!

We’re looking down at Gizmo the orange Maine Coon crammed into his favourite new box which is far too small to actually comfortably fit a cat of his size 😹😹 Despite this he has managed to keep most of himself contained with the exception of a snow dipped front paw which is at the left edge of the box next to his floofy tail. The box is on a grey/silver/white rug which is covered in Gizmo things like a blue cool pad, a circular plastic mat which features a colourful cartoon ocean scene, a Superman toy and scratching board.

Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat is having a lovely time lying on his back with snow dipped paws in the air! His head is on the right of the picture and he’s looking at us with one eye half shut - if you were to zoom right in on his face you’d see his sharp teeth poking out in a snaggle tooth style! His long tummy floof is a mix of creamy white and orange fur and at the end is his long orange tail which is sitting on a blue cool pad which Gizmo sometimes uses when it’s warm. His position here looks useful for letting air flow - a breeze would flow nicely along his tummy!

Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat has poured himself into a brown cardboard box which really isn’t big enough to accommodate a cat of his size…but as the old saying goes - “I fits I sits!” The box sides come up to form an opening which is narrower than he is but Gizmo has taken up residence regardless. Even before we take his large pointy ears and their orange tips into account his head is higher than the edges as it pops up at the left side of the box.

Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat is on his back as we look down on him sprawled out on a grey/silver/white rug. His tummy (which goes on for miles 😹😹) is covered in long creamy orange fur which is super soft and smooth. He’s getting lots of air around as it’s a warm day here in Scotland! Luckily the room he’s in gets sun early morning and late at night when it’s cooler so that helps him stay chilled. His four snow dipped paws are all up in the air as he shows the world his tummy!

Gizmo the orange Maine Coon is relaxing on mum’s lap and wearing a fancy scarf around his neck which is the price he has to pay for taking up residence! The scarf is a dark blue with white spots and some floral pattern. Gizmo doesn’t look too sure about his additional fashion item as he reckons his own natural orange and white floof is more than enough! 😹😹

Mum is mostly hidden by a pink fluffy top which compliments Gizmo’s orange and white fur. His long white whiskers stand out against the deep dark blue of the scarf.

Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat is hiding out in a cream coloured pod on his giant cat tree. We can only really see his head as he peeks over the rim and he obviously thinks he’s hiding but of course when you’re his size that’s a difficult skill to master. For starters the large pointy ears with orange fur tips are always heading for the sky!
