About 15 hours into Ghost of Yotei; no shortage of beautiful views. At first it felt almost too similar to Tsushima, but the game is just crazy fun. Time just disappears, even though it feels a lot like he original I'm not sure that's a bad thing. Via ps5 physical

I enjoy talking about games!
Finished the Magnificent Trufflepigs Via Steak deck, in about 2 hours. A tad underwhelming in both gameplay and story, but a cute idea. Coming from someone who loved firewatch, what remains of Edith Finch, and gone home too. But overall cute cozy walking sim
Starting Ghost of Yotei, pretty solid so far. First couple hours hooked me pretty well. Looking forward to cleaning off the map, and getting back into the groove of combat
Finished The Pale Beyond via Steam Deck in about 8 hours. What a fun story, not sure what this gameplay style is called but I love it and the resource management and story driven nature. Great cozy game, and really impactful crew mates
Instead of grinding through the backlog, apparently I decided to tackle another mass effect series playthrough. Playing legendary edition on steam deck with a fem shep renegade run. Just wrapped up me1 after about 13 hours
Starting CRONOS: The New Dawn, atmospheric for sure. Feels a lot like Dead Space where every fight matters. Aiming with controller is a little rough with the heavy weapon instability, about 2 hours in. Neat so far, tense
Finished Life is Strange: Before the Storm remastered (switched over to ps5 since the switch version performed so poorly). I don't know why this story and characters are so good, but they are. Seeing more of Chloe felt so special. Took about 8 hours
Roller credits Vampire Crawlers in 30.5 hours via Steam Deck (is this the perfect Steam Deck gsme?). What an addicting gameplay loop, super fun. Keeping it installed for long plane rides. Won with a card draw + wilds build for maximum combos
A few hours into Stellar Blade PS5, actually having a ton of fun. Gives me Nier Automata vibes. Combat is great, so is music and sound design. Crafted.
Finished Warhammer 40k: Space Marine II via PS5 campaign, about 8 hours. Solid combat, great voice acting. Good old fashioned fun looked great on ps5, dreaming of a ps5 pro...
About 30 hours into Dragon Quest III HD-2D remake. My 2nd DQ game after 11, and it's neat to go back and see the DNA. Beautiful, classic grindy JRPG. Soothing.
Tackled Resident Evil 2 Remake on Leon, and working through on Claire now. About 25 hours in, playing via a combined Steam Deck handheld mode + steam streaming. Working great, and a blast of a game. The tyrant stresses me out! The music, I hear it in my sleep
Finished Dave The Diver in about 27 hours via Switch. Super cute, addicting gameplay loop. Amazing visuals and the majority of the mini games were fun. Also craving sushi
Played Resident Evil remake via steam deck; took about 12 hours with a jill only play through. Lots of thoughts but in general the game holds up pretty well in 2026. Great suspense, mediocre controls, surpsingly impressive visuals. Accidentally set the difficulty to easy
Working on LEGO Harry Potter years 5 to 7 in couch co-op, so fun! Thinking Lord of the Rings or Pirates of the Caribbean next?
Wrapped up The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom. Cute fun, not a full mainline "Zelda" game, but a lot of depth. Some puzzles and interactions were a bit obtuse. Took about 26 hours.
Wrapped up Rayman Legends: Definitive Edition on Switch physical cart. Flawless platforming, and I hate platforming. Amazing art, music, and level design. Took about 7.5 hours to roll credits, but there is a ton more content. Keeping it in the library
Finally got around to disco Elysium. 33 hours later I'm so glad I did. It started out a little slow for me but I usually take that as a good sign. And means that there's an incredible world to build sometimes and disco delivered an amazing world. I will feel forever connected to these characters
Mount No. 755 and a wrap up of The War Within. 492 hours played at level 80. Solid expansion, looking forward to Midnight!
Started Chernoblite via PS5 physical; definitely a lower budget title, but the daily gameplay loop with some building / upgrade elements is pretty fun! The world is intersintly crafted. The Russian voice acting seems way better than the English
Rolled credits in Blue Prince (46th room only) after about 21 hours on day 27 in game. Very very cool puzzler, and I know there are a TON more secrets. Will continue to poke around a bit, but some of these puzzles are secrets are a bit TOO advanced for me
2025's list of games I played and at least rolled credits with time played. Some great games and definitely some mediocre ones. I can't decide between Elden Ring and Expedition 33 for my personal favorite. I might have to go with Elden Ring since it surprised me so much
Finished Astro Bot (at least, rolled credits) in about 12 hours shortly before midnight on December 32st, 2025 as my last game finished this year. The definition of a 10/10 game. Number 34 for me this year
About 13 hours into Death Stranding, been on the backlog a very long time. Playing via steam deck. I'm finally getting the hang of the gameplay, absolutely fascinating world and game play loop Enjoying it, but took awhile to get into the flow
Holy crap, Clair Obscur Expedition 33 is absolutely mind blowing. Absolutely hooked from the first hour. I now see the light on why it's on so many GOTY lists. Playing via PS5 physical
Trying / starting Star Wars outlaws. Smells like Ubisoft so far
Finished up a 3rd playthrough of Cyberpunk 2077, this time with the Phantom Liberty update on PS5 via physical. Beautiful game, some of the most immersive memorable experiences. Played a Nomad and got my best ending yet. About 38 hours
About 8 hours into Life is Strange remastered. Love the story, reminds me a bit of Gone Home, especially the peaceful voice acting. Looks absolutely terrible on switch, will be swapping to PS5 version after first game is done. Love a solid walking sim with a great story
