The world’s five leading oil ‘supermajors’ recorded $48 billion profit in the second quarter of 2026, their most lucrative quarter since the height of the 2022 energy price crisis after Russia invaded Ukraine, according to new analysis by Global Witness. Helped by surging oil prices during the US-Israel war on Iran and closure of the Strait of Hormuz, the big 5 oil majors - BP, Shell, TotalEnergies, ExxonMobil and Chevron - banked the equivalent of $535 million every day between April and June. This equates to $22 million profit every hour, or $6000 every second. With three full months of supply disruption and price inflation, the Big 5 were able to more than double their Q1 profits of $22 billion. Global Witness also found that: BP posted $5.7 billion in Q2 26 profit, more than double Q2 25 Shell made $9.8 billion, more than double what it made in Q2 25 TotalEnergies made $6 billion, two thirds more than Q2 25 ExxonMobil made $14.5 billion, more than double what it made in Q2 25 Chevron made $12 billion, more than four times what it made in Q2 25. The Pandemic was devastating. All those people on ventilators was terrible. You would think the US Government would increase funding into the CDC. Fuck No, Trump and Kennedy fired the staff and gutted the budgets. CDC? They are gone! That to me is the real crime that should be investigated.
I ran the two US Florida Senators through my AI evaluation matrix scoring them in multiple areas. Even AI clearly demonstrates they should not be in these positions.
Here is my evaluation & scoring sheet for evaluating US Senator candidates both incumbents and new candidates. We the people need to do a better job of interviewing these candidates which means they need to do debates and be prepared to speak to all the people in their state and not just their base

The Iran war has not achieved a decisive strategic gains for the United States or its allies, it has inflicted enormous costs on Iran without producing regime collapse, and destabilized the region. Most experts reviewing the conflict conclude that the war should not have been initiated.
The justice system is swift and furious for the poor and immigrants. But for the wealthy, what justice system? We literally have criminals in the White House. The DOJ hired Jan 6, rioters as ICE agents. We have insider trading taking place in Congress & Trump administration.
Can the Democratic Party stop with the candidate experiments. Can we get candidates with some real experience in government, economy, foreign affairs. Our goal needs to be winning. I’m expecting we will need two men. Give AOC a senate position and let her get more experience in these committees.
These tariffs are theft against the American taxpayers. When we purchase items the cost of tariffs needs to be shown: Item Cost: $$$$ Shipping Cost: $$$ Tax: $$$$ Tariffs: $$$ Time for retailers to start showing the cost separately and not combined with the item price.
We have 700,000 homeless in the country and not a penny to help them. We have endless money for ICE, prisons, and military. We have 200 families a day at the food bank, every day.

How is it possible that people still think tariffs are being paid by the China? How are Republicans so comfortable with allowing Trump to put a tariff tax on nearly every item in this country.
CNN showed a map of the midterm elections with Florida, North & South Carolina, Alabama Tennessee all being heavily red. I dont understand the mentality that people would vote for a party that has literally made the country more expensive, made healthcare unaffordable, and we are at war again.
