Sometimes I think it was a mistake to let the programs we use primarily for viewing text and images become complex virtual machines that execute millions of lines of arbitrary code anytime a friend sends a link to a cat picture.
Trying to follow the modern economy feels like I'm playing a board game where I've supposedly been taught the rules, but nobody plays in a way that makes sense and the winners and losers are never whom I expect.

I got a show from the plane as the sun set on another Anthrocon. The con was wonderful, despite the weather. I'm glad I got to meet so many folks in suit, and I'm happy I got to spend time with many fuzzies I hold dear to me. I also loved the mini con we got to have in the airport on the way out.

Last night, I was working on my mastodon->bluesky reposter, because it was adding blank posts to threads (a problem I thought I had fixed months ago). For like 2 hours, I hunted for the flaw in my logic that made it fail in those specific scenarios, but I couldn't recreate the problem. So I gave up.
