I finally finished “A Parade of Horribles”, Book 8 of Dungeon Crawler Carl series. Carl and Donut’s quest for survival while risking self harm in order to protect those in need is a cool salve of hope in our current dystopian. Can’t wait for book 9, but happy to have space in my brain.

This Saturday is another opening for the Artist Biennial at @oregoncontemporary.bsky.social 5-8pm, where you can see my photographs. I’ll be there around 6pm for Jaleesa’s performance. Come say hi and let’s chat about the camouflage techniques of the adult queer in pursuit of dazzling mimicry.

On World AIDS day, I remember my uncle Jon who passed away of AIDS related illness when I was 10. He was my favorite uncle growing up: he was a radical faerie, he would read my tarot, talk about magic, and introduced me to my favorite video game, Final Fantasy (the NES game).

Still working off those ham sweats and gravy drippings.
