Proud I assigned the Handmaid's Tale to my seniors in an all boys' school 20 yrs ago. Avid reader and progressive. YES to Bernie, AOC, Murphy,& the others who stand up.

Republican politicians support Todd Blanche hiding the Epstein files. Republican politicians support Blanche cooking up bogus charges to please Trump. Republican politicians support Blanche giving the Trumps tax audit amnesty worth tens of millions of dollars. Vote against all Republicans.

"Data centers bring jobs..." makes me laugh as spouse of IT person responsible for an international organization. Their data center is 2,000 miles away. EVERY THING is done remotely. There's nobody there. Nobody is making that daily commute.

15 months of mass deportations, and your rent hasn't gone down. Your groceries are even more expensive, and so is your power bill. Maybe it's time to admit immigrants aren't the problem. TRUMP is the problem

Stevens’ dismissal of international humanitarian law goes well beyond Israel. She opposes any accountability for war crimes by any US ally. If Michigan Dems nominate someone so out of touch with her constituents, thousands of Michiganders will likely vote third party or stay at home in November.

A simple Google search says Jamie Raskin, Richard Blumenthal, & Gary Peters all took oversight actions last year re treatment of Tate brothers. Then Yassamin Ansari wrote a letter on July 23--again more oversight. None of those efforts made Moira Donegan's July 27 column claiming Dems were "silent."

Democratic centrists have a problem. They have enormous influence over the debate — indeed, they manage to get national news coverage almost at will as they complain that the Democratic Party has moved too far to the left. Their problem is that they don’t represent any actual voters.

I will continue saying this: Oregon is in danger of having a Republican governor this next election cycle.... Ask yourself the question: Do we want to be like Texas? Tennessee? Kentucky?

The questions I want someone to ask any Republican Governor they might vote for:
..will you hand over our voter rolls without a fight?
..will you allow this admin to take away our mail in voting?
..will you give up our Medicaid data?
..will you allow ICE facilities to be built in our cities?
..will you fight for our federal dollars?
..will you allow ICE on our streets & at voting locations?
..will you cut taxes for the rich?
..what are your beliefs around school vouchers?
..will you allow our public lands to be sold for mining and clear cut logging?
..how do you propose to help the homeless?
..will you push back against Trump?
..what are your beliefs about the SAVE ACT?
..will you vote to unfairly gerrymander our state?
..will you allow Data Centers to be built? And, who will you make pay for the electric use, water use, and environmental hazards/contamination?
