We're thrilled to announce that we've added @bleaknesspunk.bsky.social from France to our record release show tomorrow. Couldn't be more stoked!

A nonsensical amalgam of peace punk, psych, doom, goth and krautrock from Eugene, OR. The longtime recording project of @petenormal.Bsky.social , now a real band. https://theburro.bandcamp.com
Please always call 988 or if in ATX, our mental health authority at 512-472-HELP (4357). I have worked many crisis jobs and have deescalated situations a LOT more threatening than this.. multiple cops shot this boy more than 20 times.. i am going blind with rage
Austin, TX - A 17 year old boy was shot 20 times by police - who “mistook” his water bottle for a firearm. The teen was having a mental health crisis and called police from his own phone. He was dead within seconds of their arrival. Now the police are claiming it’s his fault.
I'm the type of person who liked it better before we all had computers in our pockets, but seeing our stuff getting played on the radio in Cincinnati, getting reviews in Germany, and filling orders to send off our CD to Iowa, I will grudgingly admit that the internet can be kind of cool.
'The couplet “Now I guess I’ll have to tell ’em/ That I got no cerebellum” is not the work of an idiot. As John Cooper Clarke perceptively put it: “They wrote clever lyrics about moronic subjects, rather than the other way around.”' #Ramones’ road to London 50 years on buff.ly/NZWSgVB
We’re playing our album release show a mere 5 weeks and 2 days after the thing came out. Will be our last with bass player Matt, and second to last for the foreseeable future. If you’re in the southern Willamette Valley, please join us!
Despite my best efforts, I haven't managed to prompt a single review of the album to this point. I suppose this is a be careful what you wish for situation.
I've rarely put much effort into soliciting the opinions of others about my creative output, but because of the themes on this album, I really want people to hear it. Since our current lineup is unlikely to tour, getting people to say nice things about it is one of the ways it's gonna get heard.
This story is about the Kings Road Merch warehouse. Punk artists work there shipping punk merch. Last year, it was acquired by Sony Music. One month ago, workers voted to unionize. On Tuesday, before the first bargaining session, Sony Music announced they’re shuttering the Minneapolis warehouse.

I think I've taken The Ramones for granted for much of my life, and because of this, I just want to say that there are few songs as perfect as I Don't Care. Why waste time say lot word, when few word do trick?
The existence of someone name Joe Burrow really screws up our google alerts
A new tool allowing artists to check whether their music is potentially being used by AI companies has launched online A cursory search of AI Watchdog will reveal that 175 songs by #TheFall show up across the four datasets used by AI companies buff.ly/oId9AKp
Exciting news! Still somehow an underrated band. I had the honor of sharing the stage with them at one of their earliest shows, and they were phenomenal. Soon after I became roommates and band mates with Marceo, and I was fortunate to have him drum on the first Burrow album, Inherit a War.

LO freakin' L. Just discovered that two album tracks on the version we sent out for digital distribution are completely silent. If you've saved the album on your favorite streaming service, we will have a new version with the fixed audio hopefully very soon!
At the Reflecting Pool, and guys, this doesn’t look right.

Probably doesn’t mean much, but seeing our album next to Kneecap, Station Model Violence and The Cramps on Bandcamp’s best selling punk CDs is cool as hell. Thanks to those who have supported it so far!
Happy Juneteenth! If you’re into songs about resisting fascism and working toward a more liberated world, boy, do we have an album for you. theburro.bandcamp.com/album/the-bu...

I was lucky enough to master this record. Truly an album I believe in.
I've rarely put much effort into soliciting the opinions of others about my creative output, but because of the themes on this album, I really want people to hear it. Since our current lineup is unlikely to tour, getting people to say nice things about it is one of the ways it's gonna get heard.
Sending music out for review is such a strange experience. I think I'm pretty aware of my strengths and weaknesses as a musician and songwriter, but I just have to cross my fingers and hope that A) it piques the interest of anyone to review it, and B) they can relate to it enough to say nice things.
"According to Oregon Citizens’ Utility Board, a watchdog utility group, residential customers were paying more than twice as much per kilowatt-hour as data centers."
Really drives home how much other customer classes were subsidizing skyrocketing data center energy demand costs before the Oregon Legislature passed the POWER Act. oregoncapitalchronicle.com/2026/06/04/p...
Releasing these and a cassette version of the album 6/19.

Of all the songs I’ve written, this one might be my favorite.
