The frozen yogurt of people: Fine, but no one's first choice. Film person/aspiring filmmaker. @Burtonesque89 on Letterboxd. I blather on about movies and SNL and Futurama/The Simpsons and the Tim Burton oeuvre, and there's very little else to me.

Look at this, "Star Trek Day" is - still - on the day the original series premiered, the franchise's birthday. It's almost like that way makes the most sense and "Star WARS Day" should follow suit! I'm more a Star WARS guy, but in this way...advantage: Trek. #StarTrek60

IMDb, Hey, how are ya? Yeah, we're all shitty. Listen... Stop having the "producer" credits at the top of the page for people who are DEFINITELY actors first and have WAY more acting credits than producing credits. You can't make that make sense.

Well, I do believe this is the best I've ever done at Wordle - I don't play every day, but I've gotten back into playing most days over the last couple weeks after a long fallow period - and I got today's in 2, and with a word that directly applies to myself.

The "Whose Line..." YouTube channel is playing the UK edition's final-series Hollywood episodes, and I'd forgotten that Catherine O'Hara was on one of those, but...it's really always great to be surprised by a Catherine O'Hara appearance in something!

Re: today's Hollywoodle... The one-degree connection that I felt I HAD to go to for was, I do believe the second movie I ever heard of [first actor in this Hollywoodle pairing] being in, I remember the EW summer movie preview issue that...previewed it.

You watch ONE 1989 commercial for the Taco Bell BATMAN tie-in cups, and YouTube wants to keeeeeeep sending fast-food tie-in commercials for that era of Batman movies your way. "You" is me - and I will keep watching said commercials.

I don't say this because I lack discernment or because I'm in the MCU tank (neither's true), but: Actors who've made MANY other movies in between/around their Marvel movies were not "swallowed up by the Marvel machine" - especially if those other movies were of varying genres/modes/tones. (1/2)

It was real weird that there's a romantic comedy starring DOLLY PARTON and JAMES WOODS before last week, but..it's only gotten weirder. That's a real "study in contrast" kind of pairing.

Every time you see a “millennials and Gen Z don’t [x thing, like owning a house or going out to dinner or broadway shows]”, go ahead and mentally substitute “can’t afford” for don’t. I have tons of friends who’d love to go to plays or mid-scale restaurants or buy napkins, but we are broke.

I've recently started rewatching VERONICA MARS again, and how I love that within the first 5 episodes, you have appearances from both the boy from JUNGLE 2 JUNGLE (Sam Huntington, a guest star*) and the boy from KAZAAM (Francis Capra, a series regular)! '90s kids' movies of SHAKY quality represent!

Behold, the CORRECT way to say this kind of thing! It's not "BRAND NEW DAY announces home release date" or "TOY STORY 5 announces streaming premiere" or "STREET FIGHTER releases ____," because movies/shows don't do these things themselves! (Re-)Learn how to talk! And get off my lawn!
