Just found this Tweet a few moments ago from the hellsite and……. It’s pretty funny that despite the events of the past few days (US midterms & Sajam calling out EVO bag chasers), this is Justin Wong’s informed opinion on the matter basically being a centrist POS and telling folks to do the same.

A screenshot of a Tweet from Justing Wong that says the following: “So are we back to enjoying fighting games and back to posting combos and clips of fighting games?”

There is gonna come a day, prob a lot sooner that most people realize, where Saudi is going to back out of the FGC. When that happens there are gonna be a lot of big names - competitors, commentators, event runners, even developers- that are going to pretend they never betrayed us. Don't let them.

my thoughts on the OoT remake and new games in general is we're now seeing the effect of making games for the DSP audience unironically Except DSP is one person and not the norm, would really like games to stop assuming people have one brain cell and let them explore a little.

i do think ocarina remake is too much of an overcorrection in terms of how much everything in the overworld points you exactly in the direction of the next story beat. i kinda expected this from the jump so im not too pressed about it but it's a small bummer.
