Harvested the first of our fingerling potatoes this afternoon - what a haul! I didn’t expect this many from 1/6th of our bed. Roasted some for dinner and they were awesome!

This SpaceX IPO is simply fucking absurd. It’s a blatant wealth transfer structured for the nearly sole benefit of one person. The US government needs to sever itself from any and all contracts with this monstrosity at the earliest possible opportunity (which unfortunately won’t be any time soon).

We really, REALLY need to do something about this whole thing of conducting domestic and foreign policy via social media posts. Truth Social is a third-rate site with questionable security hygiene. I doubt it would be very hard to compromise and take over his account (maybe already done and latent).

I get it that most cab rides are for 1 or 2 people, but why on earth wouldn't you re-envision the form factor for a taxi to maximize interior space and ease of ingress/egress? Think hackney carriage rather than "looks cool like a sports coupe." This concept just seems dumb for taxi use.

Also, may I say that I don’t agree with people saying ICE and CBP need “more training.” They’re doing exactly what this administration has trained them to—impose a reign of fear in blue cities. They don’t need more training. They need to be ripped up root and branch.

The thing is, many of the things he’s talking about will eventually become reality. Visiting and living on Mars, regular interplanetary travel, vastly more intelligent autonomous systems and vehicles, etc. He’s just very, very, very wrong about how quickly they’ll come to be.
