Some meals are so suddenly restorative that I assume I must have been chronically deficient in some mineral, or something.
I think I know what I think, but people have a way of making me second-guess myself.
I like this framing... the choice is not between a stated dollar amount and an unstated (that most people probably can't or don't try to calculate) 'expected value' dollar amount. The choice is between certainty and risk.

Actually, no! I was a Montréal Expos fan as a kid. (I was inside the stadium for the game when the retractable roof tore off in the storm!) Then, I was a Cubs fan, and after that (and currently) a Red Sox fan.
My final #RedSox trade verdict: Breslow did better than I thought he would. I am mostly relieved. My guys all survived. I am sad to see Narváez go, but otherwise relieved. The new guys seem good. (Pitcher is a bit of a hothead... we'll see...)
