Another scoop! In my recent LA Noire YouTube video, I obtained reams of new information about the gameplay and setting of Whore of the Orient, LA Noire's cancelled successor. It sounded absolutely incredible. Check out my write-up of the details on IGN: www.ign.com/articles/new...

I want to re-emphasize one part of this Xbox story: Half of the 3,200 cuts are happening today and half are happening in the next 12 months. In other words, even people who survived today's layoffs will have to spend the coming year wondering if they're going to be next.

Ex-COD creative strategist Robert Bowling is launching a new studio He confirmed to me that it'll be an FPS, but it's not live-service "Live service is killing development teams [...] It’s time for a radically different approach, and we’re doing it or we'll die trying." www.ign.com/articles/ex-...

Love seeing clips like this because the action mechanics did not click with me as much, I prefer the sneaky approach in 007 First Light. It’s a great testament to IOI’s design work that the gadgets and levels can be used so well for both.

I’ve finished 007 First Light and can confidently say this is one of the best action games of the generation for me. Really remarkable game that seamlessly stirs so many styles into a James Bond cocktail. The nearly six year wait was worth it, almost unbelievably so.

this post may be one of the clearest examples of the difference between this app and Twitter Everyone on here was pretty nice! Couple people who didn’t like the way it looks but were mostly respectful. Twitter had people acting like this gameplay killed Ian Fleming himself.

This was exceptional, thoroughly recommended watching. It speaks to a time when I first joined the industry and was playing Call of Duty as a hardcore fan. That was before getting the opportunity to work on the franchise and hearing some of these anecdotes first hand from SHG.

After nearly four months of work, my first ever YouTube video is now LIVE! It’s a two-hour documentary about the making of Modern Warfare 3. It’s a chaotic story and I’m so glad the developers I spoke with trusted me to tell it. Please enjoy: youtu.be/eC7eS0_O8ng?...

The second and final trailer for my two-hour documentary about the making of MW3 (2011) is now live! The full video will release next Friday at 6PM ET and features exclusive interviews with Glen Schofield, Michael Condrey, Robert Bowling, Brian Crecente, and others! I can’t wait to release it!

16 years ago, Activision fired Vince Zampella and Jason West from Infinity Ward, jeopardizing the future of Call of Duty. I made a documentary with exclusive interviews with ex-IW devs that tells the story of how the team overcame dramatic odds to make MW3. Here's a sneak peek:

Now that the break is over, it's time to get back to work. Anyone looking for a producer, creative director or lead, writer/editor — freelance or staff — please reach out! I appreciate any leads, too. Stay sane and safe in 2026, everyone.

In this next phase, I'm available to freelance in many roles: producing, creative directing and development, and writing/editing across entertainment, gaming, culture, and branded content of all kinds. Please hit me up if you'd like to work together! (ccruz0918@gmail.com)

Well, out of nowhere, I’ve been let go once again from ComicBook.com. This is a pretty sudden shock, especially since I busted my ass working there. I’m pretty devastated and don’t know what I’m going to do. Please let me know if anyone has any work for me, thank you
