Got my first driving lesson tomorrow and I'm pretty nervous so wish me luck! Spoke to my driving instructor to check what I should be reading over, also asked him what the general sentiment was on recreational pit manoeuvres. He didn't seem amused.

Doubt it'll ever happen but kinda wish Jagex would take the time to reformat old world events into RS3. Make them more quest-like, solo accessible and playable again, so new players don't just pass the likes of Missing Presumed Death and be like "wait, when tf did Bandos die?"

Yeah ya girls going to RuneFest next year. So many of y'all that I've missed. Would be awesome to try and reconnect before then!

Holiday is over, wanna go back fr Norway is beautiful 10/10. Went on a cruise for the first time with my girlfriend to check out some of the smaller towns and the Fjords. Absolutely mesmerising. Also all the free drinks were neat heh. Also we saw otters 10/10 favourite animal

Update on this: Got my own voice lines done. Still need some more people in for voice acting. Unfortunately between work and holiday prep, recording has not been possible. I should get this video out after I return. Gonna be an RS3 one this time, but got a few OSRS sketches planned too!

Small thread inbound about a win I had this weekend. At this stage most veteran RuneScape players have beat Jad. Same here, at least after EOC when it became a lot easier. This past Saturday I beat Jad for the first time in OSRS. Believe it or not, this is a pretty massive achievement for me...

Y'know, I managed to go 12 years avoiding short content. Vine, TikTok, YouTube shorts... I finally caved in 2024, and still don't know what I was missing? Strangers staring at the camera for 5 seconds before talking, "please don't scroll", AI slop. Did I miss the period when any of this was good??

I just called the DVLA about this, apparently it was approved and posted! ...On the 12th. Lesson to take away from this? The Royal Mail are hella delayed. As if there was any doubt... The Brits are at it again.

After deciding to learn to drive 4 months ago, the DVLA have still not sent my GB provisional licence 🙃 If they just let me use my Norn Iron one rather than converting it, I could have passed my theory, took my test and prepped my motorway playlist, which would ofc start with "Life is a Highway".

Anyway that's work done for the week. Time enjoy the weekend, load a Pokémon Romhack on my Steam Deck and click a shooting star every 8 minutes on OSRS. c:

Thought I had it in me to do more overtime today but fuuuuuuuck that sucked. Has to be the most mentally draining thing switching from 5 to 6 days a week. I'm gonna take a long break from OT that's for sure.

According to my fitness app I've managed to spend at minimum an hour on the treadmill every day for the past month. Progress with weight loss is slow going, but actually feels like it's leading somewhere this time. Just need to keep at it.

Damn that's crazy if true. Feels like yesterday Pokémon Journeys was ending and we were saying goodbye to Ash. Could be good though, would love to see more narrative driven story with a tone change. More often than not the constraints of a seasonal story allow for those kinds of arcs to thrive.

At the risk of sounding like a coddled RS3 player, afking shooting stars to 90 mining in OSRS really makes it sink in how much slower this game is. Even taking out the bonus XP, boosts and time-gated events, there's so many "slow" AFK methods for mining in RS3 that at minimum double the XP rate.

You know, I do feel like The Odyssey is one of those films that your opinion really improves on the more you have time to think about it. Kinda tempted to see it again to confirm that theory. Maybe in IMAX this time, though that is expensive...

Finally saw Super Nolan Odyssey the other day. Decent film, stacked cast as usual, impressed by Tom Holland's performance having only seen him as Spider-Man. Definitely think Nolan glazing now is going too far. Dude's not the only auteur. That said, had a lot of fun would watch again.

What I will say on this, while it is going slowly, I think the approach may be to make some scripted sketches in RS again like the old days, it's what I'm most familiar with so it feels like the best way to test the waters. Definitely some mental blocks to work out but, we'll see.
