Finally finished Avatar and all the DLC, and the last one got me feeling a bit hollow and empty! So it’s time for some Metaphor ReFantazio. Which, urm, is different.

Finished 007 First Light (Great game with local villains from Tampere) :D Now I’m craving a really meaty RPG, something to sink my teeth into! Maybe it’s time for Metaphor Refantazio or to finally try Like a Dragon or Yakuza? Or Crimson Desert? Or something else? :D

Got a craving for a really meaty RPG and started playing Greedfall: A Dying World. It’s not quite cutting it yet, but hopefully it picks up soon! What are you playing this weekend?

I’ve been going to the gym for like 6 weeks now, and I hate to say it, but it’s almost fun and I feel much better. I’ll never be the sort of person to enjoy exercise, but this, walking, and cycling are my jam.

I used to love reading poems and poetry books in school. Granted, it was a lot of Wilfred Owen, Siegfried Sassoon, and Rupert Brook. Along with other classics such as Ted and Carol Hughes, and Sylvia Plath. But, I don't think I've picked up a poem since. Any recommendations are welcome.

Ah it’s time for the annual “we can’t give a better renewal deal on your phone or internet contract, but we can increase the price by 5 euros. Well okays, i cancel and wait for a phone call with an offer that wasnt possible yesterday to stay your customer” dance.

2026 reading so far! Reread the Witcher Series and the new one for the first time. The games have far better storytelling, but they were still enjoyable on a second go-through. Games > Books > Show

The "venymiskielto" (flexibility ban?) in my sector has been eye-opening. After just two weeks, I'm falling behind on many projects, and my inbox is a rabbit's nest. I feel there are just not enough hours in the day. How long has my workload been like this?

Is it just me, or has reading emails gotten more difficult since more people are using tools like CoPilot to write them? There's something about the way they are written and structured that makes the text like Teflon to my eyes. Maybe I'm just ready for my holidays :D

It’s been a while since I’ve been called ”Wonderfully easy” - but I was able to bleed for Finland today after Veripalvelu lifted the restriction on Brits donating this month!

Working on this article for my thesis has made me miss my researcher days. It‘s so nice to be able to spend time reading, thinking through issues and analyse data. I just wish I had more time to write rather than using my holiday and stolen moments here and there. It makes the thinking disjointed.

Has anyone tried the latest degoogled Fairphone with Murena or Sailfish OS (Jolla)? I’ve been trying to diversify my tech and move away from US-Companies... Been having so much fun testing Linux distros these past couple of months.

Not quite sure what to play after Indiana Jones. Should I finally start Assassin’s Creed Shadow? Metaphor ReFantazio? the Outer Worlds 2? Sherlock Holmes Chapter One? Greedfall the Dying world? I am spoilt by choice and still having a gaming hangover from Nioh 3.

Well, that’s the end of Indiana Jones and The Great Circle. It was a decent game. Excellent voice acting, visually pretty, and a good story, that felt a bit drawn out with all the back-and-forth. Could there have been more levity and few collectables? Yes. DLC had great puzzles. Platinum 106
