Vincent Whitman / Vox tux wip progress update So close to finished with this fucking jacket

The glittery fabric is attached to the jacket as far as the tails are concerned so now I just have to finish cutting out the pieces for the lapel and adding the black edging to them then cut out and attach the little little shoulder details and I’ll be done I’m in the home stretch finally

Swiss cheese ass Springtrap limbs and some Springtrap feet

I want to add some tread to the bottom of Springtrap’s feet and I still have some red stick on squares from making Alastor’s shoes and I’m trying to decide if I should cut it into a fun shape and if so what shape I should do

Even funnier addition to this I realized my most used type of cardboard is the box from bulk packs of cup noodles

Gonna be honest most of my cosplay pieces are made of duct tape cardboard and sheer force of will (with a healthy dose of spite for pizzazz)

I might try taking the bus today! (Anything but working on costumes)

Last night the tv prop I was working on fell directly on to the Vincent Whitman suit I just thought that was funny

So I have had time to practice with the machine and it’s already so much easier to use than I expected though I’m still a little nervous about cutting the jacket but I’ll have to just bite the bullet and do it

I finally have a sewing machine and the petal came today so I actually got to test it and thank god it works I’m sure learning to use it will be a bit tricky but anything is better than trying to hand sew an entire costume again

I was gonna start on the Vincent Whitman tux tailcoat but I broke the needle on my sewing machine so I need to wait for the replacements to come so I’m working on Springtrap in the meantime and I FORGOT HOW STRESSFUL HE IS TO WORK ON I HATE THIS 😭

I dyed my hair black and in the process entirely stained my left hand black Thankfully I have now gotten it to a bluish color but my hand is still visibly stained with dye It’s almost purple actually
