Dawn your government reintroduced conversion therapy for kids yesterday. Desperate parents will be on suicide watch for the foreseeable future and young lives will be lost. I don’t think Labour has the faintest idea what it’s doing to trans kids. Our world is utterly bleak.

New post: LABOUR'S SECTION 28 IS HERE - ACT NOW. I explain how the Labour government's proposed revisions to the guidance on "keeping children in education" are designed to erase trans children in England. But it's not a done deal - there is plenty we can do to oppose this.

I can’t stop thinking about these poor children who will have to live truly terrifying lives. How can they possibly be able to learn in such a hostile environment? And then the parents who want to support but will be threatened with safeguarding intervention. UK is not safe for trans kids AT ALL

New School Guidance announces: Full bathroom ban. Full PE ban. Full school trip accommodation ban. Trans kids will not go to the bathroom, do PE or go on any school trips. 1/

This is the kind of thing that I hope @zackpolanski.bsky.social will tackle. The flow of UK money since Brexit/Covid goes only in one direction and a lot of unscrupulous people are making a lot of money.

Teesside’s freeport, initiated in 2021 under Rishi Sunak, has cost £560 million far exceeding the standard £25 million allocation (22 times the standard £25m). 90% profits go to the private sector. This clearly shows the UK model of State aid post-Brexit is utterly corrupt.

On Friday evening, we were made aware of an amendment put forward by three Tory MPS to the Data (Use and Access) Bill, that will be voted on on the 7th of May. This amendment, if ratified, would severely infringe on the human rights of trans people in the UK.
