Living in Portugal but kept my British sense of humour.

It’s an easy truth. Those who advocate for data centres will never have to live next to one. I wonder how they’d feel to one being built, in say, Beverly Hills.

No matter how much FIFA try to distance themselves from Infantino, he is their president and is Dong it in FIFA’s name. FIFA’s silence is deafening and complicit.

Tillis-Cornyn. They’re holding up the Blanche confirmation because of the Trump IRS deal. They rightly have a problem with it. Nothing else though. Take that away and they’ll confirm Blanche without another thought.

Texas electricity grid is tenuous at best. Now add Adams giving data centres exemption from sales tax. I’m guessing they haven’t done anything to remedy their grid problems. Not seeing how this ends well. Guess Ted Cruz will be heading to Cancun more often.

Has anyone kept track of Moscow Mitch’s aides? They say they’ve been to see him. Have they? If they’re seeing him to brief and take instructions, then he’s fit enough to have visitors. If they’re seeing him haven’t, they’re part of a cover up. If it’s just a social visit, Bashear could’ve done it.

SecDef’s running of this war is a window into Trumpian thinking. Using up astronomical amounts of munitions that can not easily be replaced in acts of mass bombings are for optics because they have not achieved the goals, even if these goals had been defined in advance.

So the US has for years boasted about having the strongest military on the planet. Just trying to think about the last time they won a conflict on their own without allied help. Drawing a blank.

FIFA and FIA. Both try to steer their respective championships to their preferred winners. FIFA by turning a blind eye and FIA by the application of penalties against those who come too close but also against their preferred winners if they make it look too easy. Gotta keep it looking competitive.

When the WH Press Corp is more worried about having an event where they can dress up rather than actual journalism, you’ll have an annual dinner. I don’t consider parroting Trump lies to be journalism.

Sorry America, your politicians are by and large performers. Both sides. Very few want real change. Most want status quo. That’s their comfort zone. Don’t let what they say fool you. Look at what they do, if anything.

White House Correspondents Association. Why does it even exist anymore. None of them are professional journalists. All they do is parrot Trump lies. They have no standards and worry more about their outfit for their ball than being a professional journalist.
