The new course LING 599: Mathematical Linguistics (Formal Properties of Grammars) will be taught by Prof. Diego Gabriel Krivochen in Winter 2027 (MWF 12–12:50). This is a seminar for advanced students in LING, but students in other programs (CPSC, MATH, etc.) are most welcome to enrol and benefit!
LING 302: Language in Humans & Machines will be taught as a no-prerequisite block-week course August 24–28 by computational linguist Brooklyn Sheppard. Don’t miss out! LING 302 is only offered every two years or so, and it’s already over half full (65/120) calendar.ucalgary.ca/courses/1663...
