There are a lot of educational channels of the "cool science facts for middle schoolers" variety that from time to time release center-right political videos spreading misinformation while ignoring the existence of imperialism. Then you find out they are backed by an oil company or something.

I like to play characters with gimmicks. AKI has a very interesting gimmick as all her tools kill her. If she throws a fireball, she dies. If she tries to anti air, she dies. If she uses her anti fireball move, she dies. Plus on block normal? She dies. And I wouldn't want her to be any different.

But it must be said that the problem isn't contemporary stylistic trends or the use of green screen. All of this can be made to work. The problem is that late stage capitalism doesn't allow for well crafted and ethically made big budget art.

Having "recurring themes" in a single painting is a very nice tool visual artists have that I hope I can use with more intent in the future. And by that I mean recurring brush gestures, colors and shapes.
