Getting into any Toyota dealer away from home is like winning the lottery. Ridiculously hard.
Travelling in QLD when airbag alert came on in our Toyota Prado. Was advised to travel to nearest Dealer to check the severity of the alert. Drove 800 kms to Mareeba and asked for a diagnostic test to see if the car was safe to drive. Toyota Mareeba refused, too busy. Not good enough #Toyota Aust.
If only. It’s been so long since we had serious analysis on a regular basis. I miss it. This facile propaganda is unwatchable.
If journalists like Nikki and Daniel were regulars on the couch, and there was a host who was more Barrie Cassidy and less David Speers, Insiders might be watchable again. 2/2
They are arresting U.S. Air Force Officers for free speech and U.S. Olympians for curiosity—but not rich men for raping children with Jeffrey Epstein.
Hope you everyone is looking forward to working for $2 a day. That’s what Gina thinks is fair.
Because Gina Rinehart doesn't want policy to be for her benefit at all #auspol
Except every time I see high productivity I translate it as higher privatised profits, and that is a lousy measure of anything at all.
Chalmers is emphatic that if we want to have higher living standards, we must have higher productivity, and the budget is designed to encourage it from all sectors of the economy. #auspol
In a 30 year career in the public service, I have never seen a "public-private partnership" that accomplished anything except to give private industry a whack of taxpayers' money.
#backroads - what an amazing episode, making music in Wilcannia and Broken Hill. Jeremy Fernandez got it absolutely right. Hope there is more of this quality #abc
I hope like crazy that there is much more going on behind the scenes away from the noise and strident nonsense of the media. It seems Albo likes to work that way, eg getting Julian Assange home.
Yep, I hope that’s what it is. Regardless, I think we are past that point, but I can see why a government would think we aren’t.
#ClimateActionNow Solar panels are often now elevated so that sheep can graze underneath them. Dew runs off them, making the paddocks more drought resistant. The sheep get shade underneath them. Productivity of both wool and meat is increased, farmers get static income from the lease. Win win!!😍
A powerful piece by brave women. A timely reminder that, underneath all the politics, this is who the #EpsteinFiles are about. And how *all* relevant information must be made public so that some measure of justice can be reached.
NEW: Epstein survivors release the most powerful PSA I have ever seen. Make this go viral so every member of the House of Representatives sees it.
Can journalists stop labelling politicians like Hastie, Joyce, Canavan, and Antic as "conservative". They are the opposite: radical right misogynist ideologues following American christo-fascist campaigning to strip women [and anyone else who isn't a straight white man] of their rights. #auspol
Liberal women react with ‘horror’ at abortion comments from Coalition colleagues
Someone should then ask him to explain all the science behind these terms…
The President of the United States is so upset about his failed campaign for a Nobel Prize that he's now trying to claim someone else's prize as his own. Pathetic.
NACC Commr Paul Brereton has lashed out after an unnamed Home Affairs employee was found to have engaged in a conflict of interest Brereton “conflicts of interest are an area of widespread concern” Unless you do it yourself? Then it’s Okay? In no place to talk Brereton #Robodebt
Wonder if the ABC can get the Zionist lobby to cough up the 70K, considering they started the whole thing with their bullying
Breaking: Federal Court Justice Darryl Rangiah finds ABC unfairly dismissed journalist Antoinette Lattouf for her expression of political opinions and awards her $70,000 in damages
So here's the bigger question coming out of the #AntoinetteLattouf victory: WHY did the ABC cave in to the Israel lobby? And more broadly; HOW does a foreign influence group have so much power over our media, politicians, universities, cultural institutions and the arts? #ZionistMcCarthyism
"the decision was made to appease the pro-Israel lobbyists who would inevitably escalate their complaints about the ABC employing a presenter they perceived to have anti-Semitic and anti-Israel opinions in such a public position." BAM.
If one is censured by a nation's Parliament for behaviour officially found to be "corrosive of trust in government", and is referred to an anti-corruption commission for misleading its Cabinet about the "crude and cruel" Robodebt scheme, how is one then eligible for said country's highest honour?
Great questions … 🤔🤔 #auspol

💥🎯from Greg. Just a very minor quibble - if we are going to bin #ScottyFromRobodebt, the stupid awards system and the useless monarchy, they should go to landfill, not recycling! #NotMyKing #auspol
Scott Morrison is getting Australia’s highest award on the Kings Birthday. The bloke who as PM went to Hawaii during the bushfires, ran Robodebt, and secretly gave himself five different ministries. Morrison, the monarchy, the whole system belong in the bin. #AusPol #NotMyKing
"Richard’s saga has also shown how broken the Commonwealth public servant whistleblower protection laws are." If there is anything useful to come out of the prosecution and persecution of Richard Boyle, it is to highlight the urgent need for strong #whistleblower protection laws. #auspol
After a court enforced realisation that he wasn’t protected by our broken whistleblower laws, Richard Boyle has pleaded guilty to being a whistleblower. It’s a sad outcome. Richard is a superhero - Australia needs more people like him. #auspol
If your business model doesn’t work without breaking the law, then you’re not in business. You’re in organized crime.

I’ve seen some think pieces arguing that Labor’s election victory means News Corp no longer have power in Australian politics. These views ignore the fact - as per my academic work - that News Corp and the Liberal Party are so intertwined that neither leads and neither follows - they work together.
No idea why media still depicts Nats as a farmers party. They are a mining party beholden to coal and gas interests and funded by Gina Rinehart. When there is a conflict between farmers and fossil fuels, they always back fossil fuels. Their opposition to wind is to protect fossil fuels for longer.
