Congrats to my friend @camelliakoo.bsky.social on her debut book Yaya and the Dan-Tats! We all have those stories of mischief and secret snacks with our elders- this charming book full of bright illustrations is the perfect night-time giggle read! #annickpress #cankidlit #anotherstorybookshop
It may not be too late to register for my book launch celebration, this Sunday at @anotherstoryto.bsky.social ! Register here so i know how many dan-tats to bring! yayaandthedantats.eventbrite.ca
The cover of YAYA AND THE DAN-TATS matches my tapestry of the Chinese character for Dragon perfectly. My mother started rug-hooking this when she was pregnant with me. She passed away four years ago. She made the best dan-tats. Thank you to everyone at Annick Press and illustrator Phoebe Xiao.
Wow!!! Thanks to @picturebookseh.bsky.social & @canscaip.bsky.social for a fantastic event. Each creator read their book & between each book we all had 2 min to take notes or write/post reviews, text chat etc. Brilliant format. And thanks to Jadea Kelly for performing at the end! #KidLit #CanKidLit
