Before helping Chris Brochu on this study, I was unaware that the crocs at Hadar hadn't been formally described or assigned to a species. The type specimen/skull was found back in 1973, one of the first Hadar field seasons. Congrats to Chris and the other co-authors and Tyler Stone for the artwork.
