7,431km, 11 days, and 6 provinces later, we are home :) Was one hell of a trip, and getting to see the less-travelled parts of Canada was awesome, so much neat hidden stuff. Now time to pass out for like 14 hours lol

So far so good, nearly 800km down without issue on a Quebec road so bad that a gas station on the way sells "i survived route 389" stickers lol Also a cool dam i guess (It is very cool)

Well it wouldn't be a roadtrip without *something* going wrong lol And uh the alternator tensioner arm bolt has snapped off in the block Zipties to the rescue, seems to work well enough to get home (i hope)

Good: made it to Labrador City, found a rad mining truck Bad: no snow tires and it's snowing like a MF...in early October Last bit of the drive here was a bit sketchy so we're thinking we'll aim to stay here tonight until the roads have been cleared and then get home a day late

Waiting for the ferry to Labrador currently, made it without issues :) Definitely need to visit Newfoundland again (and for much longer), it's such an incredibly beautiful place

The volvo has officially reached the easternmost point of north america! Now to turn and burn 7h back west to a campground so we can drive another 3.5h tomorrow morning to make it to the Labrador ferry in time

5am wakeup today to make it to the ferry to Newfoundland in time (in line for it now). Sunrise was beautiful though, well worth it. Slept in a geodesic dome last night lmao (apparently we're trying to find the weirdest structures to stay at), honestly super cozy

2400km later, the volvo has officially returned to its birthplace :) Visited the building in Halifax that it was built at in '87 (got a bunch of film photos too that I'll post once developed ofc) Building is no longer owned by volvo but it still exists so had to swing by while in the area

Tonight's accommodation: Yurt. It was both the cheapest place with availability and also a freaking yurt, how could we not Queen bed, wood stove, and generally super cozy, 10/10 yurt

Figured i should get around to posting here at long last :P New car (87 240 wagon with a stick) and finally time for a good roadtrip - heading east until we run out of Canada to drive on :)
