Having spent too much time on the airplane yesterday, I started to wonder about Don Garment’s life. Was he happy? Fulfilled? (On the 767 freighters, we don’t have evacuation slides; rather, a diaper harness that you “don” and jump out of the plane to a workman’s comp claim.)

Today is exemplary of how joy is a surfactant to the greasy feeling of fascism. Watching the Obama Presidential Center opening ceremony healed me a little bit, and it gave me the hope that there ARE better days ahead. (Plus Hillary’s cackle about the Nobel Peace Prize was pettyyyy 😈💅🏼)

Just ordered myself a tennis racket for the first time in years. Might even mess around and join a team at some point. Given I was a 3 year varsity tennis player it’s about time I give it a shot as an adult.

Nerdy question for pax airline pilots: I’m a flea ridden freight dawg, and we don’t have wifi. Thusly, we are relegated to the ship’s onboard radar. Do you find that having other information, presumably via in-house wx apps, helps you navigate cells better (than the old days)?
