💔 With heavy heart I share the news that my beloved older sister passed away on Aug. 13th, which was also her late husband’s birthday. She leaves behind a world made infinitely more beautiful by her presence. I am numb and overwhelmed & still trying to come to terms with her loss... 1/2

A golden-haired woman, wearing black & burgundy and carrying a woven basket, is walking away from the viewer, but extending a hand back, to guide over the tall grassy overgrown terrain.

There are large evergreen trees in the background, and a tiny view of a slow-flowing river in the top right.

This makes me chuckle at memories of the horrible "Chateau Chez Bob" wines that one of my Exes produced. It frustrated him that I, the relatively non-drinker, would consistently create quite delicious & delightful wines, while he managed to always mess them his up somehow. 1/2

This week in 2019, we lost Rutger Hauer... he was in a lot of my faves -- from Flesh & Blood, to Ladyhawke, and of course, Blade Runner. "The light that burns twice as bright burns half as long, and you have burned so very very brightly Roy." Rutger Hauer (1944 - 2019) ~ Rest In Peace
