I lived through the pandemic in Brooklyn. I remember bodies being transferred from freezer trucks to mass graves. My father got cancer at the start of the pandemic & couldn’t start chemo because hospitals were overcrowded with COVID-19 patients. It was chaos.
My maternal grandfather raped me when I was 10. For over a decade after, I poured his wine. Cooked for him. Read to him when he went blind. Sat in his lap & let him poke me with his 🍆 so he wouldn’t do it to my sisters. Visited him in the nursing home.

Got hired for a remote market research job. Can’t log into the company’s employee portal to do onboarding. Spent all morning trying to reach someone in tech support. Finally got an email from the COO saying their server is down & they’re trying to fix it. Guess I’m watching OITNB today. Oh well.
Holy fuckballs, Todd Blanche turned over the Epstein files. As the survivor of childhood rape who never got justice (grandfather raped me & I was too scared to tell until a decade after his death), I’m happy to see those women a step closer to getting justice.
