I’m struggling to understand how a cultural screening is being used to frame parliamentary language and statute. Films can inform discussion, but they are not a substitute for legal analysis or engagement with affected rights-holders. Specifically in relation to “adoption law, particularly where

When adoptees are folded into “mother-and-baby” narratives, adoptee rights disappear. What we see again is recognition without remedy.
