Last Thursday, Yueyan, one of our visiting PhD students, gave a brilliant talk about her PhD research in preparation for her defence. Her research explores how babies and caregivers learn to share attention in everyday life using wearable devices and machine learning.

Last Thursday the Babylab attended a talk by Mitzi, one of our visiting PhD students! 📖 The talk explored how linguistic anticipation and rhythm intertwine to shape real-time comprehension, and how this reveals key differences between typical development and Down syndrome.

🚨Calling everyone living in Wales! The Welsh government has launched an open consultation on the plans to extend the Talk With Me Speech, Language and Communication Delivery Plan to include children ages 5 to 11! 📅 Deadline: April 30th 2026
