Trump has shown the way here: arrest and deport before the courts can do anything about it. Mamdani can plausibly argue that he is bound by international law to arrest and extradite Netanyahu, and I can think of few consequences for this that wouldn't be worth accepting.

I think Trump is likely a narcissist. I think you probably are, too. I am not, which is why I can distinguish between my personal hunches and clinical diagnosis.

Ironically, this trademark Stancil dismissal of any expertise that he can't casually lay claim to is itself a pretty classic symptom of narcisssism!
Will Stancil@whstancil.bsky.social · 3w agoI think it’s nutty to argue that we can’t diagnose Donald Trump with NPD just because we haven’t performed an exam. What is a doctor going to get in a brief exam that we haven’t gotten a thousand times over in our ten years of constant public exposure? It’s not exactly a close call on the diagnosis.
Speaking as someone who ended up being right about both Platner and Ukraine, nothing is more ridiculous to me than watching people pretend like they had psychic foresight about either, deserve credit for guessing right, and deserve apologies from those who guessed wrong

These Ukrainians turning over a conscription bus aren't ethnic Russians in some far-eastern enclave. This is happening in Lviv, the heart of Western Ukraine. If you support conscription but aren't enlisting, this is the Ukraine you're creating. It won't end well.
