When l heard the Black Storks were heading north over Minsmere decided to head to Carlton Marshes and 3 hours later they finally flew right over Share Marsh/Peto’s till l lost them over Somerleyton, well worth the effort brilliant birds

Just back from an interesting cruise to Bay of Biscay, southern Irish sea and English Channel was excellent for Shearwaters, enjoyed best views ever of Great also Cory’s, Balearic, Sooty and loads of Manx. This Poplar Hawkmoth came onboard in Bay of Biscay. Red Squirrel on Tresco

Highlight of my holiday to Loch Tummel in Scotland there was a beaver lodge near the hotel and managed some good views with patience, took this clip on my phone, also Butterfly and Marsh Orchids in hotel grounds

An interesting couple of days with the Red-footed Falcon at Carlton Marshes which was very elusive amongst about 14 Hobby, and yesterday at Minsmere 3 Spoonbills flew in from the south but very quiet for waders, then later a Turtle Dove was a pleasure to listen to (pics by Barry)
