I'd love to hear YOUR predictions and hot takes on the following question: SCOTUS just approved the Texas gerrymandered maps. What're the odds they strike down the Democratic gerrymandering in California? Illustration by Bill Kuchman/POLITICO (source images via AP and Getty Images)

AMERICA 👇 👇 👇 "Hey this guy's murdering tons of innocent people.” "Is he powerful?" “Yes." "Darn. Best we can do is wait 6 months for a popularity contest that he is actively working to undermine." ☝️ These people are culpable, too. ☝️

I am in desperate need of existential humor as we go into another regime change war. Comment with your meme’s, Please. P.s. we can fight back, it isn't over, etc etc. Working on a piece about it, obviously.

It's wild that on Jan 10, 2025 Judge Merchan literally said that even though Trump was convicted of 34 felonies, he would received an unconditional discharge/no consequences becuase he was about to become President again.

Fascists don't usually take over in a moment. By the time the coup has happened, there is often still YEARS of misguided public discourse about whether or not its too late for standard reform. Similarly, dismantling their sysyems takes many moments over at least several years.
