As "Adolescence" continues to sweep every Limited Series award out there, a moment of silence for "Dying for Sex," which told such complex stories so well that it blew me away on approx. a thousand different levels

On the one hand, a potential future of flattened, streaming-friendly mediocrity. On the other, a politically motivated family trying to take over the vast majority of news dissemination in this country and beyond. One may be bad, but the other seems.............................catastrophic

Paramount CEO David Ellison has declared war, launching a hostile takeover bid to keep Warner Bros. from Netflix. We’ve laid his plans out — including Jared Kushner’s connection to his bid.

Getting to know this legend has been one of the greatest joys of my life and I'm so pleased to introduce you to her with this gorgeous feature from the Inquirer, where she speaks for the first time in over 30 years on her incredible journey share.inquirer.com/XdfXr9

Sure I could buy all my presents online, but then I wouldn't be able to hold up a bookstore line by seeing a 2026 Farmer's Almanac / rant about the UNACCEPTABLE DEATH of the Farmer's Almanac to the startled cashier / buy the 2026 Farmer's Almanac because it's (full circle incoming) sold out online

Post production is extremely complex -- every final version of a show is comprised of multiple elements. VFX, sound, color. If you're doing a massive transfer/remaster like this, PAY PEOPLE who understand how post works to supervise. You can't just cut and paste.

Paying for news helps, but it’s usually not sufficient, because those outlets are still making decisions all the time about what to cover. If you’re subscribing but not reading, or if what you’re reading isn’t what made you subscribe to begin with, you’re creating incentives you don’t want followed.

I don’t know where to put my fury about this. Intentional starvation is a cruelty beyond measure. It happened to my Armenian family, it’s happening to Palestinians now, it could happen to you if the powers that be decide you’ve stepped out of line. Enough!

Hunger and disease continue to stalk Palestinians in Gaza, and aid organizations are warning that children are at greatest risk of starvation. A U.N. worker has described people as "walking corpses."

Falling behind on "Andor" this season apparently means falling behind by at LEAST several episodes, and I'm overwhelmed! Is the batched weekly drop working for other people, or do you also wish it were a more traditional single ep/week drop.....?
