📌Today alone, Republicans confirmed a complete slime ball and crook, Emil Bove, to a lifetime appointment on the court, opened the door to corporate pollution of our air and water, and worked tirelessly to shield pedophiles. We are being governed by completely hideous people.
The confirmation of Emil Bove to the 3rd Circuit is a direct assault on the integrity of our justice system. A former Trump lawyer, Bove ordered a 15-year DOJ veteran to lie to a federal judge — then helped fire him for refusing. Now he’s a judge. Corruption in action.

The very wealthy who are actually committed to democracy - eg Mackenzie Scott, George Soros, Melinda French Gates, Mark Cuban, etc - could do a great service by funding, or upping their funding, to media supporting democracy and rule of law.
Mike Masnick@masnick.com · last yr.As someone who has run an actual non-ridiculous independent media operation for over two decades which has lost multiple sponsors due to our public "we're against fascism" stance... to hear that Weiss might get $200 million for basically justifying and whitewashing fascism... is... frustrating.
