About a dozen residents gathered in Carrboro on Tuesday for an energy-saving workshop about how to lower high summer utility costs. Facilitated by the Town of Carrboro and OWASA, the workshop was offered English as well as five other languages at the Refugee Community Partnership.

The Town Commons playground is closed for maintenance until September. We will be removing the entire structure, addressing surfacing and drainage issues, and adding new features including ADA accessible play equipment. The playground will have a unique Carrboro theme with exciting features!
