ELC- Yesterday a small group of children got the bus up to Callander park, they explored the woods, ate lunch around a camp fire and had lots of fun in the park! Lots of very happy boys and girls. A - “ I have had a brilliant day! “ 🪵🍁🔥
ELC- Making some mini bake potatoes to go along with yummy lunch! 🥔
ELC- harvesting our garden crops 🌽🥔
ELC- To carry on N’s interest in flowers, as a provocation flowers were added to the studio space and this sparked other children’s interest! 🌹🌸
ELC - N noticed a flower outside in our nursery garden and brought it into the studio area where he wanted to paint it onto paper! 🎨🖌️

#beetime A safety themed 2nd session in Car Mechanics. We learned about stopping distances of cars when avoiding hazards. We discussed responsibilities of drivers & pedestrians & identified conditions that can make reaction times longer such as drivers using mobile phones. Well done everyone. 👏🏻
P2 enjoyed spending time in the library today. They listened to a story, then chose some books to look at. 📚
A beautiful day for exploring Solsgirth Farm today.
Violet the Clydesdale horse enjoyed lots of attention today. This group also learned about wool production and how to birth a lamb!
Primary 6 almost didn't make it home from their farm visit today. They were offered jobs ploughing the fields!

A fantastic afternoon at Solsgirth farm with Primary 6. Fascinating workshops and hands on experiences. This group enjoyed learning about dairy farming and milk production.

It was BEE time today. Our children enjoyed various topics of learning. We had, empire biscuit making, construction, car mechanics, coding, spheros, Olympic Games, sports journalism and sewing. @carronshoreprimary.bsky.social 🐝
Football trials on Thursday. The kids worked hard playing a match to allow Coach Paul and I to see what they can do. 8 trialling for 4 spaces. The boys will find out tomorrow. @carronshoreprimary.bsky.social 💛🖤⚽️🐝

ELC - Woodland visits, bear hunts and tree climbing 🪵🐻
Car mechanics for #beetime This group learned how to check oil levels, top up window washer fluid, how to check whether cars take petrol or diesel and find the tyre size. Honking the horn and spraying the windscreen were highlights! 🚗
🐝 P3 have been busy bees exploring place value and how numbers are made up of hundreds, tens and ones, using practical resources and lots of hands-on activities to help bring our learning to life. We have been working hard to identify the value of each digit and build numbers in different ways. 🌟
🌧️ Muddy Monday 🌿 P3 had a ball being back outdoors on Monday! We embraced the fresh air, got stuck into some muddy adventures and enjoyed exploring and learning together in our outdoor space.
