Yup. Today’s visit was a disaster movie. You know, the 70s kind where one person in the cast (me) has a handle on what’s happening while everyone else is losing their mind.
Cancer journeys are like the Doomsday Clock. Some days feel like it’s hours from midnight. Some days only minutes. The nonlinear nature of it is fascinating, and maddening
I make it a point to carefully pick my doomscrolls and vids to play in the background while I putter around the house. My intent to fuck up the algorithm is working. I’m getting ads in Spanish for baby care products and contraceptives
Pretty sure the clouds in the sky will be bigger now. Yes it’s a joke. Yes it’s bad. No it’s not too soon. She would have wanted us to smile through our tears.
“Take these old, used memories from the past. And these broken dreams and plans that didn't last. I'll trade them for a future, I can't use them anymore I've wasted love, but I still have some more.” The Bargain Store Farewell Dolly

Had a sewer malfunction yesterday. Yeah, about as bad as one would expect. The bright side is a cleaning team that’s worth their weight in gold. The bonus is hearing all the gossip in Spanish. Let me tell you those Telenovelas are spot on. No quiero que sepan que entiendo cada palabra. ¡Escandalo!
@cocksroade.bsky.social took some really cute photos of me today. Looking forward to maybe sharing some more of these if folks are interested. Mr Roade has a way better camera and backdrop than me.
The only thing odd about this picture is when I was that age we didn’t have a single adult present. The parents, or teachers were 50-100 yards away gossiping and smoking on a bench somewhere. We were raised, right or wrong, on Darwinism and luck.
I still remember the terror of my first kiddie coaster at age 4
It’s times like these that I realize how much I miss Weeky World News
Last minute side quest to #colonialbeach for some seafood and a chilly beach stroll. Well, 10 minutes on the shore. But it still counts. @hyenacub.bsky.social
I saw this yesterday. I love when words have multiple meanings.
Accidentally took my morning and evening meds at once this morning. This is gonna be interesting. Already dizzy so I’ll be in bed if you need me
I used to (be able to) take long walks to clear my head. #fuckcancer
Today I learned that MiraLax works horrifically quickly merely by lifting the bottle off of the shelf in the drugstore.
There’s got to be a word for recognizing a close friend via a faceless butthole reskeet
If you’re wondering how exciting my life is I slept through this #fomo
Did some stucco and some painting too.
