OK, something I haven’t really seen mentioned about the Geno Auriemma situation from last night. It doesn’t really matter what he was mad about. What matters is that he was treating Dawn Staley not as a peer, but as someone he could berate with no fear of repercussions.

One night at a Subway in Columbus, Ohio, I thought “that guy in front of me looks a lot like Terry Bradshaw.” It was. He was in town for the quarterhorse show. We had a great chat about horses while his sandwiches were being made.

You know, part of me wants to just say “OK, do your worst, show these people what they voted for.” Another part of me keeps thinking about how many conversations I’ve had in my career with experts that have included some variation of “regulations are written in blood.”

I don’t know who’s going to win the election, and neither does anybody else. But what I do know is that one campaign is acting like it has a narrow lead, while the other is acting like the results don’t matter because it has the courts in its pocket. I sure hope that latter campaign is wrong.
