When I was just starting to lift when I was around 30 and 110lbs, I could not have foreseen that I would have a squad of massive bodybuilder dudes who would eventually be in my corner helping me improve my skills and encouraging a healthy mindset about lifting. I feel extraordinarily grateful.

Mundane musings — This is just navel gazing and narcissism, but also finding joy in the existence of my own body feels like a simple human joy I haven’t really had a lot of experience with. The integration of mind and body, denouncing Cartesian dualism, feels verdant, calm, and wise.

1.) colorblind here, so that def influences my opinions on the matter, but 2.) the whole Season color typing for clothing and styling seems like the most arcane and unintelligible nonsense to me.

I’ve slept like a normal person for seven straight days. I don’t think this has been true for me since my age was in single digits. I am reborn. The stark contrast between running on pure willpower vs actually having sufficient resources to function is WILD.
