Well this is cute🌞 Year 5 teacher + English lead✏️ Avid reader, keen traveller, shower singer + obsessive crafter ✨

Talking about books always cheers me up so what’s one of the best books you’ve read so far this year? Some of my top reads of 2025 are: • Dragonborn by @struan-murray.bsky.social (coming out soon!) • Kala • A Court of Mist + Fury • I Who Have Never Known Men • Just for the Summer • The Nightingale

Pretty sickened by UK's Supreme Court 🤮 So I'm opening my submission inbox to unagented trans authors in the UK until the END OF APRIL. I'm not currently open to general subs BUT if you're a trans author writing folk horror, weird, experimental, mystery, literary/upmkt fiction, take a look below 👇

Wow I’ve been so quiet. Sorry gang - I haven’t felt like I’ve had much to share. How has everyone’s half term been? Mine has been super quiet but with a lot of much needed rest (& my first run of 2025!)

Morning everyone! What’s your favourite year five class novel? We’re just about to finish Boy in the Tower and I’m being so indecisive about what to read next!😍

How has your first week back been? Any teaching highlights? We are designing our own theme parks for persuasive writing in English and they blew me away with their ideas 😍✨

Finished my first book of 2025 earlier today and gosh it was a good one to start with. Highly recommend Kala by Colin Walsh. What’re you all reading?📚
