I like this view of throwing. It gives a really good idea of what my hands are doing, since the inside is just as important as the outside. This will be an oil bottle, and as with all my agateware clay, was pretty uncooperative. #pottery #ceramics #agateware

Some orange marble/agate mugs. These have a pretty small or fine pattern, I think maybe a little too fine. The bottoms look amazing though. #agateware #marble #marbleart #mugs #pottery #ceramics
The trimming process for a red and white agateware/marbled vase. This is the step where the contrast really shows up, and you get to appreciate the pattern you made. #agateware #pottery #trimmingpottery #ceramics #porcelain #marbleart #marble
New marbling technique. I call this 'second-pass' marbling. You take the trimmings of other marbles pots, and throw a new pot with them. Creates a much more busy, chaotic, and natural pattern. I like it. Excited to see what it looks like fired. #pottery #ceramics #art #marble #agateware #porcelain
Some more oil bottles. These still had the crazing issue on the exterior, but a different glaze on the interior is fine and food safe. #pottery #ceramics #art #marble #agateware #porcelain
MSorry, no pottery today. I'm busy making a rapier. I actually had way more material than I thought, so I still need to thin it out and probably cut off a good amount towards the tip. Might make a dagger out of the extra bits. #blacksmithing #damascussteel #swords
Finally got to trimming those new marbled bottles. I really love how the patterns popped after. It's always a nightmare to try and trim their bottoms too, but usually I can get it done with some effort. #pottery #ceramics #porcelain #art #agateware #marble
Great, damascus colored things are a-brewin' #blacksmithing #forging #swords

Sometimes it's nice to make a really solid plain stoneware piece. 10 lbs of red clay turned into a nice curvy vase in 10 real life minutes. #potteryvideos #pottery #clay #ceramics #throwingpottery #art
New oil bottles. I have mixed feelings on the pattern (I think it's too small and spiraly) but they're pretty anyways. #pottery #art #ceramics #agateware #marble
I'm getting really good at these tall narrow necked bottles. Really love how the pattern and shape on these are turning out. #pottery #ceramics #art #clay #porcelain #agateware #marble
This is a semi-historical recreation of a tuscan marbleware piece from circa 1650. The technique used is my default one, so not similar to how those were made, but of a similar shape, which I thought was interesting. #ceramics #clay #porcelain #agateware #pottery
Some purple mug pictures, including how they look at the leather hard stage. I lobe how much more vibrant they end up once glazed and fired. #pottery #art #ceramics #porcelain #agateware #marble
The trimming process for some of my marble mugs. I love how the patterns show after the slip gets trimmed away. The process for trimming the bottom of these is kind of a nightmare, and can go well or not, depending on how cooperative the pieces are. #pottery #ceramics #agateware #marble #clay
An orange marbled oil bottle. As with the recent red one, it may be a bit too busy, so I need to have a lighter touch when wedging in the future. I think the bottom looks pretty killer though, so the real pot heads out there will probably dig it. #pottery #ceramics #agateware #marble #art
An unedited 3 minutes of me throwing a mug. As with all my agateware, it really doesn't look like I know what I'm doing since the clay is uneven in terms of moisture and hardness. Anyways, it's still fun to do. #potteryvideos #ceramics #porcelain #pottery #agateware #marble
New oil bottle. This one was also affected by the cracking issue, but should be ok for liquids. I think the pattern may be a bit busy. I'm sure it'll find a loving home with someone who likes it tho. Maybe with a firefighter. #pottery #ceramics #agateware #marble #art
Orange mug. This one has a seperate glaze on the inside, so won't need re-firing with a painted on interior glaze to make it food safe. #pottery #ceramics #art #agateware #marble
New mugs. This one is red/pink/white. I think I'm not the biggest fan of this gradient technique as it lowers contrast, but I'm sure someone still loves it. Also some issues with the glaze, probably just a bit too thick. #pottery #art #ceramics #agateware #marble
This is my first large agateware piece since my recent haitus. Trowing something this large, with clay at 2 seperate moisture levels was tough. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out tho, and I didn't waste too much clay, ~6 lb. The marbling came out good too. #pottery #ceramics #art #agateware
