writing this so if anybody googles this and wants a solution, they can maybe find it: there IS a free ipad to PC drawing tablet app called GlideX. Works with apple pencil pressure sensitivity (and 60 fps if you own an ASUS PC!) I just discovered it and already find it incredibly convenient!!!

it's ALIVE ;w; wwwuhhhhh I was so worried the CPU or RAM would be toast but thankfully the PSU/GPU murder combo only took out the motherboard 🥲 I RMA'd the GPU, purchased a modern PSU that can handle the transient power spikes, and replaced the motherboard and now it's working again 😭
