Wow, if I had a nickel for every time a character I'd romanced in Dragon Age Inquisition had a voice actor go on to portray a chthonic god from Greek mythology, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice, right?

From NZ to NY, I'm attending my very first @scbwi.bsky.social conference. Looking forward to learning lots, meeting new people, and having loads of fun despite the time difference! See you at #scbwiny26 everyone!
Am I the only one who misses book blogs? Back when there were so many of them, in the days before bookstagram and booktube and booktok.
I need several YA novels about this guy solving crimes and looking amazing while doing so right now. www.bbc.com/news/article...
Louvre heist: 'Fedora man' in viral picture revealed as local teenager
The mystery youth in the photo turns out to be Pedro Elias Garzon Delvaux, a 15-year-old detective fan.

Does Suzy Cato just take off her glasses and change her hair and boom, it's like Superman and Clark Kent?
I had to pick one, as Gargoyles spoiled us good.
Okay, the question of the day is... Name your first crush on a villain. Not a real life person, that joke will land like a lead balloon. A villain character from a cartoon, tv series, comic, book or movie. #FirstBadCrush
I make rpg tokens using little wooden circles and pictures cut out with a 1 inch hole punch. Today is wood-cut day.
Anyone else on Storygraph? I've just started using it myself. app.thestorygraph.com/profile/cath...
Video on my FYP: Your writing task for the day has nothing to do with sitting down and writing. Instead go out there and make writing friends! Me: Bold of you to assume I can make friends.
Forget Corypheus and his minions, my Lavellan's greatest foes are a strong breeze and people who put things on a shelf.
@maigheach.bsky.social Followed your Solavellan videos to your website but the navigation menu is blocked/you can't make your way around the site due to a wordpress something license having expired. Thought you'd like to know!
To the dad who decided to film his child crying at the library rather than comfort them after their blocks fell down... ... I don't like you.
I accidentally took panadol extra for the second time instead of plain panadol and long story short it's like six coffees in five hours and I don't even drink coffee.

Looking at Freewrites but oof they expensive.
I see a comment mentioning Elsa Pataky and the castle, I think of @ceilidhann.bsky.social It's like a rule.
So, um, is this a Titan in the Fade back in Inquisition, or perhaps the sundered dreamself of one?
Random comment: "I love YA books but why do they have to keep making the characters teenagers." Me: "whut"
Saw another "they should have got the person who wrote Iron Bull to write Taash instead of someone who doesn't know anything about Qunari" comment today. Yeah.
It must be time for bed - my brain is attempting to rewrite the DuckTales theme song for Dragon Age: The Veilguard. (And not well) D - D - D - Danger! Rook! Behind you! There's a Darkspawn out to bite you. What to do? Just call upon the Veilguard!
Oh look, I got early access to 2025. (So far it's dark and someone's setting off fireworks even though the weather isn't great.)
Still can't believe I got to meet the voice of Blackwall.
I was especially excited to see Alastair Parker as Fezziwig and even managed to get an autograph and photo with him afterwards. For those who don't know, he's the voice of Blackwall in Dragon Age: Inquisition.
Wanting an HD remake of Dragon Age: Origins is such a "be careful what you wish for". Why? Two words: HD. Broodmothers.
I don't know which I want more: Herald of Darkness with the APT dance moves, or APT with the Herald of Darkness dance. Either way it needs Sam Lake in there. @remedygames.com

Silly little brainthought I had while playing Veilguard: "Angharad Lavellan only ever asked three things of Solas: to guide her, to love her, and to not kill those fuckwits from the Kirkwall Circle (no matter how much they may have deserved it)." No idea how accurate, but I did giggle.
I'm still very early in Veilguard (only able to start a few days ago) but I've been sending my theories to a friend who's already finished it. And my backing up of these theories ranges from several paragraphs of evidence to "just vibes" to "because Bioware is mean and likes to see me cry".
Reading back of a book and see the following: "Met the woman who would become her lifelong companion." They were lady Egyptologists, can we at least make a tombmates joke?
