It was a pleasure to meet with the Haringey Traders Association and visit businesses on Green Lanes in my constituency this afternoon. These businesses are a vital thread of our social fabric and I will continue to champion the wonderful high streets in my constituency.

This morning, I met with #Barclays to discuss the closure of their Barclays Local in Alexandra Palace Library. I expressed my deep disappointment at their withdrawal of this service, especially in light of the closure of all Barclays branches in Hornsey & Friern Barnet since I was elected in 2015.

Great to stop by Swallow House in Hornsey on Friday. I caught up with residents about healthcare challenges, how they can make sure they are receiving what they are entitled to, and improvements they would like to see in the local area. Thank you to the wonderful residents for your warm invite. 🫖

It was so lovely to be able to make the most of the recent warmer weather at Park Road Lido. It's so important to have access to fitness, and swimming is a great way to incorporate this into your daily routine. Do head over to Park Road Lido to enjoy all they have to offer! 🏊

Last week, it was a pleasure to attend the ‘TOGETHER’ exhibition at Crouch End Picturehouse. This inspiring showcase brings together talented artists from the Muswell Hill Creatives collective, alongside special guest makers, for a beautifully curated exhibition of art, textiles and ceramics.

Last week, I attended a drop-in event in Parliament to raise awareness of National HIV Testing Week (10 - 16 February). I’m proud that this Labour Government is committed to ending new HIV cases in England by 2030 and we will publish a new HIV Action Plan in the summer!

Earlier this week I was pleased to meet with local representatives from The Board of Deputies of British Jews. We spoke about the wonderful work of the Haringey Multi Faith Forum, inclusion and promoting cohesion. Thank you for everything that you do to represent faiths in Hornsey and Friern Barnet!

Great to have a catch-up with the Leader of Haringey Council last week. I discussed issues raised by constituents, including housing and Pension Credit uptake. I was particularly pleased to hear Haringey Council is on track to build 3,000 new council homes by 2031!
